What causes a stone retaining wall to lean forward over time?
The 1-meter high stone wall holding back the dirt embankment in our garden has started leaning outward by a couple of inches. Is trapped groundwater behind the wall creating hydrostatic pressure, and can weep holes be drilled to relieve it?
