1. Introduction
- Fixydo is an online platform that connects customers with professional technicians for a variety of home, office, and automotive services.
- Fixydo itself is not a direct service provider; rather, it acts as a facilitator between customers and independent service providers (“Technicians” or “Providers”).
- By booking a service through Fixydo, you agree that these Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Fixydo.
2. Definitions
- “Fixydo” – Refers to the platform, website, and brand providing the service connection.
- “Customer” or “User” – Refers to any individual who uses Fixydo to book services.
- “Technician” or “Provider” – Refers to the independent service professional assigned to complete a booking.
- “Services” – Refers to the tasks, repairs, or maintenance booked by a customer through Fixydo.
3. Eligibility
- Customers must be at least 18 years of age to use Fixydo services.
- By using this platform, you agree that the details you provide, including your name, address, phone number, Emirates ID, or other identity documents, are true and complete.
- Any misuse, fraudulent bookings, or false information could lead to the suspension of your account, and you won’t be able to create it again.
4. Bookings & Service Process
- Customers may book services through the Fixydo website, mobile platform, WhatsApp, or phone.
- Once a booking is made, Fixydo will assign a suitable technician based on service type, location, and availability.
- You will receive a booking confirmation via email.
- Customers must ensure that someone is present at the service location at the agreed time.
5. Payments
- All services booked through Fixydo are payable strictly via Cash.
- Customers must pay the full agreed service fee directly to the technician upon completion of the job.
- Fixydo does not process online payments and will never ask for your credit/debit card or banking details.
- Failure to pay may result in refusal of future bookings and possible legal action.
6. Cancellations & No-Show Policy
- Customers can cancel or reschedule a booking before the provider accepts the request and sets it in the schedule. If you need to cancel after the provider has accepted it, you must contact Fixydo customer care via email or live chat.
- If a technician has already been dispatched and the customer cancels or refuses service upon arrival, a minimum visit charge may apply.
- Fixydo reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unavailability of technicians or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, customers will be informed promptly.
7. Responsibilities of Customers
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete booking details (name, contact number, and correct service address).
- Ensure safe access to the property for technicians.
- Treat service providers with respect and not engage in abusive behavior.
- Make full payment in cash upon service completion.
8. Responsibilities of Technicians / Providers
Technicians and providers working with Fixydo agree to:
- Deliver services professionally, responsibly, and on time.
- Use proper tools and equipment to complete the job.
- Respect the customer’s property and maintain confidentiality.
- Follow Fixydo’s rules, service standards, and ethical code of conduct.
9. Liability Disclaimer
- Fixydo acts only as a facilitator between customers and technicians.
- Technicians are independent contractors and not employees of Fixydo.
- Fixydo does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by independent technicians.
- Any damages, delays, or losses caused by technicians are the responsibility of the customer and technician to resolve.
- Fixydo may assist in mediating disputes but is not legally liable for outcomes.
10. Advertising & Third-Party Content
- Fixydo displays ads through Google AdSense and other networks. These ads may contain links to third-party websites.
- Fixydo is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or content of third-party advertisements or websites.
- Users are encouraged to review third-party terms and policies before engaging with them.
11. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Fixydo website, including the name, logo, text, images, and design, is the intellectual property of Fixydo.
- Customers and technicians may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Fixydo’s content without prior written permission.
12. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Provide false information when booking services.
- Use Fixydo for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
- Harass or abuse Fixydo staff, technicians, or other customers.
- Attempt to interfere with or hack Fixydo’s website or systems.
- Create a duplicate account
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of access to Fixydo.
13. Termination of Access
- Fixydo reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at its sole discretion for violation of these Terms.
- Customers or providers who repeatedly fail to comply with policies may be permanently banned.
14. Limitation of Liability
- Fixydo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of services.
- The maximum liability of Fixydo, if any, shall be limited to arranging an alternative service booking.
- Fixydo shall not be liable for accidents, property damage, delays, or disputes between customers and technicians.
15. Changes to Terms
- Fixydo may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
- We encourage customers to review this page regularly.
16. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
- Any disputes arising from the use of Fixydo services shall fall under the jurisdiction of UAE courts.
