Fixydo acts solely as an intermediary platform that enables customers to discover and book independent service providers. Fixydo is not an employer of providers and does not supervise, direct, or control the services. Agreements for services are between the customer and the provider.
- Fixydo does not charge customers a booking or platform fee.
- Local providers may join the platform; customers should verify details before allowing service.
- Fixydo facilitates discovery, messaging, and record-keeping of bookings made through the platform.
1. For customers
- Choose by reputation: Review provider profiles, ratings, and reviews before booking.
- Verify identity: Ask the arriving provider to confirm their name and booking details. If unsure, contact Fixydo support.
- Confirm scope and price: Use chat or call to agree on the service scope, estimated price, parts, and visit timing before confirming.
- Prepare safe access: Ensure the location is safe and accessible. Secure valuables and pets.
- Cash on delivery: Pay the provider directly in cash after the agreed work is completed.
- Leave an honest review: Rate the provider after the job to help the community.
2. For providers (technicians/partners)
- Account verification: Provide Emirates ID, email, and mobile number for verification before listing services.
- Check customer ratings: View the customer’s ratings/history and accept booking requests accordingly.
- Confirm details in writing: Use chat or call to confirm the scope, estimated price, and timing before visiting.
- Professional conduct: Arrive on time, communicate clearly, safeguard customer property, and follow agreed scope.
- Request reviews: Encourage satisfied customers to leave ratings to build your reputation.
3. Mutual responsibility
- Both parties should communicate clearly about scope, pricing, and timing before work begins.
- Both parties should use Fixydo messaging or documented calls for clarity and record.
- Both parties should behave respectfully and follow applicable laws and building rules.
- Either party may decline a booking if safety or terms cannot be agreed.
4. Verification & data handling
To verify provider identity, Fixydo collects Emirates ID, email address, and mobile number. Basic customer details are also collected to enable bookings. Information is handled under our Privacy Policy and used to improve safety, prevent fraud, and support dispute resolution.
Providers and customers must never request or share unnecessary sensitive data outside of what is required to complete the booking. When in doubt, contact Fixydo support.
5. Communication guidelines
- Use Fixydo chat or a verified phone number for coordination.
- Confirm scope, price estimates, parts, and timing before the visit.
- Keep communication polite and professional; report abuse to Fixydo support.
6. Booking & payment
- All bookings should be created and confirmed through the Fixydo platform.
- Payments are cash on delivery; pay the provider directly after completion of agreed work.
- If scope changes on-site, align on revised costs before continuing.
7. Ratings & reviews policy
Fixydo uses a two-sided reputation system. Customers can rate and review providers after a job, and providers can view customer ratings before accepting requests. Reviews must be honest, respectful, and relate to the actual service experience. Content that is abusive, false, discriminatory, or violates policy may be removed, and accounts may be restricted.
8. Disputes & support
If a dispute arises, first attempt to resolve it through clear communication on scope, pricing, and outcomes. If resolution is not possible, contact Fixydo support with booking details, messages, and evidence. Fixydo may facilitate mediation; however, final responsibility for the service rests with the customer and provider.
9. Practical safety tips
- Do not allow unscheduled visitors; verify the provider against booking details.
- Keep valuables secure and restrict access to private rooms where possible.
- Request an itemized note for parts or materials if applicable.
- Share feedback promptly if anything seems unusual or unsafe.
10. Legal disclaimer & limitation
Fixydo is not a service provider and does not guarantee workmanship, timelines, pricing, or outcomes. Providers are independent contractors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixydo shall not be liable for losses, damages, injuries, or delays arising from services performed by providers. Always verify provider credentials and agreed terms before work begins. Use of the platform is subject to the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
