To help you book with confidence, we’ve introduced the Verified Badge (Blue Tick).
When you see a blue tick on a provider’s profile, it means we’ve checked them out. We verify their:
- Official Identity or Business Documents
- Relevant Professional Certificates
- Active Mobile Number
- Valid Email Address
For extra peace of mind, we always recommend choosing a provider with a Verified Badge. While this is optional for now, we’re moving towards making verification a must for all pros on Fixydo to ensure a consistently safe and high-quality experience for everyone.

- Check Out Their Profile: Before booking, take a minute to read the provider’s profile, ratings, and reviews from other customers.
- Confirm It’s Them: When the provider arrives, ask them to confirm their name and the booking details. If anything feels off, contact Fixydo support.
- Agree on the Job & Price First: Use the platform’s chat or call feature to agree on the scope of work, the estimated price, and the timing before they start.
- Create a Safe Workspace: Make sure the area is safe and accessible for the provider. It’s also a good idea to secure any pets or valuables.
- Pay After the Work is Done: Payments are Cash on Delivery. Pay your provider directly in cash only after the agreed-upon work is completed to your satisfaction.
- Leave a Review: After the job, share your experience by leaving a rating and review. Your feedback helps the whole community make better choices.

- Review the Customer: Check the customer’s rating and booking history before accepting a job.
- Confirm Details in Writing: Always use the chat to confirm the job scope, price, and timing before your visit. This protects both you and the customer.
- Be a Pro: Arrive on time, communicate clearly, respect the customer’s property, and stick to the agreed-upon work.
- Ask for Reviews: Encourage happy customers to leave a review. Good ratings are key to growing your business on Fixydo.
Platform Policies
- Communication: Keep all communication within the Fixydo chat or use the verified phone numbers on the platform. This creates a clear record.
- Booking & Payment: All bookings must be made through Fixydo. Payment is made directly to the provider via cash after the job is done. If the scope of work changes, agree on the new cost before continuing.
- Ratings & Reviews: We use a two-way review system. All reviews must be honest and related to the service. We may remove content that is abusive, false, or violates our policies.
- Disputes: If an issue comes up, try to resolve it directly with the other party first. If you can’t find a solution, contact Fixydo support with your booking details and any evidence. We can help mediate.
Your Data and Privacy
To verify a provider’s identity, we collect documents and contact information. All data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We use this information to improve platform safety, prevent fraud, and assist in resolving disputes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixydo is not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries arising from services booked through the platform. What identification should I ask for when the technician arrives?
When the service provider arrives at your door, you don’t need to ask for their physical ID like an Emirates ID. For privacy and security, the verification process is handled through the Fixydo platform itself.
Here’s the simple and secure way to verify your technician:
- Check Your Booking Details: Open your Fixydo booking confirmation. You will have the provider’s Name, Profile Picture (if they’ve uploaded one), and the specific Service Details.
- Ask Confirmation Questions: Simply ask the person at your door to confirm:
- Their name (“Hi, are you [Provider’s Name]?”)
- The service they are there for (“You’re here for the AC repair booking from Fixydo, right?”)
The legitimate provider will have all these details and will be able to confirm them instantly.
